Arlington Heights, IL (May 29, 2015) —The National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 2016 New American Home (TNAH) is both designed and in the process of being built by the Nevada-based firm Element Design Build. Beginning January 19, 2016, International Builders’ Show attendees will be able to tour the 5,200-square-foot contemporary “Desert Elegance” home and admire its gracious living, energy efficiency and sustainability, and spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The 2016 TNAH, presented by the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, features Executive motorized retractable screens by Phantom Screens that protect from the sun and insects while reducing solar heat gain and energy consumption in the screened areas. The screens let in the breeze while maintaining the views and access to natural daylight, and are designed to screen a wide variety of large openings, such as patios, porches, and lanais.
Started in 1992, Phantom Screens has grown to become a leading brand in the retractable screen industry. Phantom’s screens are available through a network of authorized distributors in the United States and Canada, plus internationally. Phantom Screens is a Registered Provider with the AIA CES, and a member of the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council.

TNAH is the “official” showcase house of the annual International Builder’s Show and is the only show home that will be served by shuttle buses during IBS. The complimentary shuttles will be provided for registered IBS/KBIS and International Window Coverings Expo attendees. Attendees can pick up tickets at TNAH’s booth, located on the Central Concourse of the Las Vegas Convention Center, on the morning of their chosen tour date.
