Arlington Heights, IL (June 1, 2015) — Beginning January 19, 2016, International Builders’ Show attendees will be able to tour the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) 2016 The New American Home (TNAH). The 5,200-square-foot contemporary “Desert Elegance” home, designed and built in Henderson, Nev. by Element Design Build, and presented by the NAHB Leading Suppliers Council, will feature energy efficiency, sustainability, and stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The home’s garage will feature the LiftMaster® Elite Series® 8500 Wall Mount Drive Garage Door Opener with MyQ® technology. The unique wall mount design frees the garage ceiling, allowing additional storage. MyQ technology allows the homeowner to control the opener from anywhere using a smartphone or computer and receive text message alerts notifying that the door has been left open.
A bronze-level sponsor, LiftMaster also has its RSL12VDC Gate Operator employed at TNAH’s residential gate. Its sturdy pad mount design delivers accurate control and performance, and also features the smartphone alert and control functions.
In addition to professionally installed garage door openers and gate operators, LiftMaster manufactures commercial door operators and gate operators, telephone entry systems, and related access control products, providing the latest in safety, security and convenience. TNAH is the “official” showcase house of the annual International Builder’s Show and is the only show home that will be served by shuttle buses during IBS. The complimentary shuttles will be provided for registered IBS/KBIS and International Window Coverings Expo attendees. Attendees can pick up tickets at TNAH’s booth, located on the Central Concourse of the Las Vegas Convention Center, on the morning of their chosen tour date.
